EN: …always wear leopard! I fell in love with this skirt a while ago, after seeing it on a blog for sale, and I bought it instantly! It’s a vintage Escada number that looks like a wrap skirt and it’s made from a delicious animal and gems print silk. Perfect for summer and definitely worth the money!
I’m thinking of buying a few crop tops to wear it with, maybe a bralet or some lace bandeaus…Hmm, I shall experiment:)

RO: Acum cateva luni am cumparat fusta asta online, de pe un blog ce vinde haine vintage. M-am indragostit de ea imediat ce am vazut-o si n-am rezistat sa n-o adaug colectiei mele! Nu stiu daca v-am mai spus, dar recomand cu caldura sa urmariti siteuri si bloguri de genul acesta, mai ales impatimitelor de vintage cu mai putin noroc (sau timp) de scotoceala in sh urile locale. Mi s-a intamplat des sa gasesc lucruri fabuloase online, la preturi rezonabile tinand cont de valoarea piesei in sine…
In orice caz, asta este o fusta Escada, croita pe model “parte peste parte”, dintr-un delicios material de matase imprimata cu pete de leopard si bijuterii. Super pentru vara si categoric o investitie buna!
Ma bate gandul sa-mi cumpar cateva topuri scurte pe care sa i le alatur, poate ceva ca o bustiera sau niste “bandaje” de dantela (draci, nu stiu sa traduc „bandeau”-la d’astea ma refer). Sa vedem, am multe experimente in cap.

EN: About a week or so ago, me and my friend went shopping. It was a glorious day as I found the most amazing blue 50’s inspired dress at H&M! Those of you who follow me on Facebook know that I was obsessed with it even before it hit the stores so you can only imagine how my knees wobbled as I saw It beautifully sitting on a hanger. Did I buy it? Without blinking an eye. In fact, I think that’s why I forgot to post these photos. I was too busy staring at my dress-which means it will take another half of year till I wear it. Told ya i have a problem with (new) things I like just a little bit too much for my own good. Habba habba
I also got a pretty necklace from H&M and some nude pumps from Zara.

RO: Acum vreo saptamana (bine posibil doua trei, da’ lasa asa), am fost cu o prietena in AFI prin magazine. A fost o zi splendida. Nu nu, nu pentru ca era frumos afara sau, ce sa vezi, ma simteam bine in compania tovarasei schingiuite, nu; ci pentru ca am gasit la H&M cea mai minunata rochie albastra in stilul anilor 50! Cele care ma urmariti pe Facebook stiti probabil ca mi-o doream si am postat-o acolo inca de dinainte sa intre in magazine, cand abia aparuse pe siteul lor. Chiar dadusem sfoara in tara sa fiu anuntata in caz ca o vede careva. Pentru o perioada nimic…Iar apoi, in ziua in care am facut pozele astea, o vad. Mandra, lunga, albastra, sifonata, ma privea gales de pe umeras. Bineinteles ca am luat-o fara sa clipesc. Sau sa gandesc (a trebuit s-o modific ulterior dar acum vine minunat).
Defapt, cred ca din cauza ei am si uitat sa postez pozele astea. Am fost prea ocupata sa ma holbez pervers la ea. Habba habba.
V-am spus eu ca am o problema cu lucrurile (noi) care-mi plac putin cam prea mult. Sper sa n-ajung la menopauza pana apuc sa o port.
Am mai luat in ziua aia un colier frumos tot de la H&M si o pereche de pantofi nude de la Zara.

EN: Last night I’ve come to realize that procrastination is one of my favourite things to do. It’s like I KNOW how important is what I have to do and I KNOW how much panic I feel when I realize I’m running out of time but I still find the most ridiculous excuses for not doing what I have to do. And I’ll always end up wondering why on earth couldn’t I just get to it! I suppose I’m more of a masochist with self inflicted pain or something.
Point is I’m losing sleep every night trying to get things done on time and I’m pretty much a zombie when I get out of bed in the morning. Hence the creepy face. And the non sense talk.
Anyway, what I really need right now is getting my hands around a big mug of steaming coffee and breathe in the magic steam that keeps me awake. That and Anna Dello Russo’s wardrobe. Ah, sweet dreams…

RO: Revelatie. Mi-am dat seama azi noapte ca imi place mult de tot sa aman lucruri. Cu cat sunt mai stringente, cu cat trebuie rezolvate mai repede, cu atat le aman mai mult. Gasesc cele mai penibile scuze posibile, le aman pana in ultima clipa iar cand constientizez ca n-am timp nici sa ma intorc la stanga, ma dau de ceasul mortii si incep sa ma crizez. Cam asta mi se intampla si acum. Probabil asa se manifesta latura mea masochista sau ceva.
Ideea e ca am inceput sa pierd noptile si m-am dereglat complet cu somnul de cand m-am apucat de proiecte si alte alea necesare perioadei asteia. De unde si fataul de zombie din pozele astea. Si non sensul pe care il scriu aici.
Si ca sa continui in aceiasi nota lipsita de noima sau utilitate, scopul meu in viata la momentul asta este sa cuprind cu ambele maini o cana mare de cafea aburinda si s-o las sa-mi ameteasca simturile adormite. Ar mai fi si dulap(urile) Annei Dello Russo pe langa asta, dar ma multumesc si cu halba de cafea daca nu se poate. Pfoai, ce mi-e somn…

EN: If you remember, a while ago I told you about my collaboration with Oasap, a global online store dedicated to high-street fashion by offering various kinds of women’s clothes and accessories. Well, today I’m showing you part two of our collaboration as I recently received these floral wedges from them and I can say that I’m simply delighted! They look so much like the “Wisteria” chiffon tie wedges Topshop had a while ago. I loved those shoes and I always wanted a pair but unfortunately they ran out of stock just before my order was placed. Twice! Anyway, I kept hoping to find something similar and I was super happy when I saw these babies at Oasap. The floral print and ivory chiffon combination mixed with the chunky platform heels and oh so soft color left me in awe. They’re even more brilliant in person. And super comfortable.
Worn here with a River Island skirt, a Zara top, a vintage Escada belt, vintage earrings and a no name necklace.

RO: Daca va aduceti aminte, acum vreo 2-3 luni va spuneam despre colaborarea mea cu Oasap, “a global online store dedicated to high-street fashion by offering various kinds of women’s clothes and accessories”, ca sa citez. Link aici.
Astazi va arat partea a2a a colaborarii mele cu ei, in urma careia (mi-am ales) si am primit sandalele acestea cu talpa ortopedica inflorata. Imi plac foarte mult. Le-am luat pentru ca seamana foarte bine cu modelul Wisteria facut deTopshop in 2010, model care m-a obsedat si m-a bantuit multa vreme dupa ce l-au scos pe piata. Mi-am dorit mult o pereche dar n-am putut sa-mi iau in perioada aceea pentru ca s-au dat foaaaaaaarte repede si mi-au fost suflati de sub nas chiar cand m-am decis sa-i cumpar. De doua ori! Tin minte ca nici n-aveam card pe vremea aia si a trebuit sa apelez la altii ca sa reusesc cumva sa le iau. N-a fost sa fie. In orice caz, am continuat sa le vanez pe Ebay (unde le-am gasit la preturi astronomice) si am tot asteptat in speranta ca o sa gasesc ceva similar la un pret decent. Am fost super fericita sa le gasesc la Oasap! Imi place chiar mai mult varianta asta cu print floral, chiffon ivoriu si platforma masiva. Plus ca sunt foarte comode.
Purtate aici cu o fusta River Island, o bluza Zara, o curea vintage Escada, cercei vintage si un colier no name.

EN: My today’s outfit was all about comfort as I was walking a lot, had to run a few errands and then stop by my friend’s house for a spot of lunch. We managed to take these photos right before it started pouring rain but of course we got caught in the rain without umbrellas and we had to do a little improvising with plastic bags. Which was pretty useless as we still got very wet and dirty. Not to mention that we were quite distant from our homes so had no choice but to walk in the rain on our return. Yes yes, very romantic. NOT.
As soon as I got home I got into my pj’s and my ridiculously fluffy slippers and made myself a giant mug of hot chocolate and climbed into bed with Keanu Reeves a Sweet November dvd. Then I got depressed (hate how much I like that movie, always makes me sad) and started thinking about Prince Charming again.Where the bloody hell are you?!? You’re frustrating me, mister.

RO: Tinuta postata azi e ceva foarte comfortabil si facut in graba pentru mers mult pe jos, alergatura cu treburi si vizita la o prietena la care am stat la masa. Ulterior am iesit cu ea si am reusit sa facem pozele astea la fix inainte sa inceapa ploaia. Desigur ca n-aveam umbrele la noi si desigur ca nici adapost nu prea gaseam, astfel incat am fost nevoite sa improvizam cu niste pungi de plastic. Zici ca faceam reclama la Durex. In orice caz, s-au dovedit inutile pungile alea, ploua atat de puternic ca ni se scurgeau siroaie de apa din par si inotam in sandale (observati va rog ca n-am nici 1 cm de toc, da?:))). Hainele erau imbibate consistent cu apa si aveam dificultati la mers din cauza greutatii astfel adaugate. Amandoua eram departe de casa si am mers asa prin ploaie mai bine de o ora pana am reusit sa ajungem la domiciliu. Foarte romantic. Ne iesea romantismul prin pori. Si aburii din gura.
Dupa ce-am ajuns acasa, m-am varat rapid in pijamale si niste botosi ridicol de pufosi, mi-am facut o ditai halba de ciocolata calda si m-am trantit in pat cu Keanu Reeves un dvd sa ma uit la Sweet November. Dupa care am cazut in butoiul cu melancolie (urasc cat de mult imi place filmul ala, mereu ma intristeaza) si m-au napadit gandurile la Fat Frumos. Broscoiul care nu mai apare. Unde esti, prietene?!?! Ma cam frustrezi matale.

EN: I’ve worn this skirt two days in a row and I have full intentions of wearing it again today someday. I’m going green here, people. Be proud. I bet you are applauding at your display right now.
Also, I felt very mom-like today. Minus the shoes. And the crop top. Had you told me 2 or 3 years ago that knee length pencil skirt would be something I’d wear, I probably would have laughed my ass off. Back then I was at the point where wearing a shirt or heels or anything golden seemed like the fussiest thing ever.
Gone are the days of boring, baggy, 4 sizes bigger Metallica t-shirts.
Ah, memories.

And these photos are deceiving. It may look like spring but the risks of being blown over by wind and thrown into another galaxy are particularly high.
Don’t say i didn’t warn you.

RO: Am purtat fusta asta 2 zile la rand si intentionez s-o port din nou astazi intr-o zi. O ard eco aici, se intelege. Fiti mandre. Pun pariu ca acum aplaudati in fata monitorului.

M-am simtit foarte gen “mama” cand am purtat asta. De la fusta cred. Mai putin sandalele. Si topul scurt, ceva ce mama n-ar purta niciodata. Daca mi-ati fi spus acum 2 sau 3 ani ca voi ajunge vreodata in viata asta sa imbrac fuste creion pana la genunchi, m-as fi tavalit pe jos de ras. Si as fi recomandat un control psihiatric. Pe vremea aia (de fapt, aproape toata perioada liceului), mi se parea ca pana si o camasa sau pantofii cu toc sau orice auriu, erau cel mai impopotonator lucru posibil.
Duse sunt zilele tricourilor anoste, largi, cu 4 numere mai mari, cu Metallica.
Ah, ce amintiri.

Iar pozele astea sunt inselatoare. Pare a primavara insorita dar defapt, sunt riscuri mari de a fi zburat de vant si aruncat intr-o alta galaxie.
Sa nu ziceti ca nu v-am avertizat.
